My Favorite Things

So here’s what I’ve noticed during the menu planning, shopping and scheduling of the holiday season.  I completely lose track of myself.  I focus on creating a holiday menu everyone will love.  I wrack my brain, making sure I pick out the ideal presents for my special people and I bend over backwards to squeeze and cram in everyone I love for holiday face time.  I certainly get tremendous joy from thinking about and doing for others but sometimes it’s exhausting.  Crazy making.  A down right, life-suck.  I’ve been doing it this way for years and just last night I realized, this girl right here…needs some me time.

And so I made a list of all my current favorite things; those things that remind me to get back to myself.

Every day I teach my clients how to put themselves first because only when their core needs are met can they fully give to others.  This list is me taking my own advice.  It is all the little gifts I’m giving myself during the holiday season when so much energy is going out.  My favorites are a reminder to bring energy back to me and slow down.

A few favs.
